The Perfect Recreator
Nomenclature
is very important. It enables an individual to function in a particular
capacity. For example when a woman is addressed as a medical doctor, she will
perform in that capacity and heal the sick. When she gets home and her children
call her mummy, she immediately transforms and caters for the needs of her
home. When she is in church and is called a unit leader she takes on that role
within the Church. So it is clear that one person can function in many
different capacities. Each different capacity attracts a different title that
recognises that specific capacity. So it is with God Almighty. He has infinite capacities
in which He can function. Calling Him by a particular name will activate His
intervention in that capacity. This is very important because each child of God
requires diverse interventions from God at different times. Let me introduce you
to The Perfect Recreator.
Most Christians know God as the creator
of the Universe. The Bible says in Colossians 1:16 that:
For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on
earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or
authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
God Almighty is the creator of everything
whether we recognize it or not. Even modern day technology is a result of ideas
which have been developed into products. If we recognize that God is the
creator of everything, then it will go a long way to living a victorious
Christian life. This is because there is an adversary called the Devil who has a
threefold ministry as elucidated in The Gospel according to John Chapter 10 and
verse 10:
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come
that they may have life, and have it to the full.
If God is the Creator and
the Devil is the thief, then what happens when a Christian loses something
given to him/her by God, The Creator? This is a critical question because many
Christians are battling today not because they haven’t received blessings from
God but because they have serious difficulties in keeping those blessings.
While many things can rob a believer of what belongs to him/her such as Sin
(the primary culprit), ignorance, carelessness, spiritual laxity, disobedience
amongst a host of others, our focus in this article is what happens when a good
thing is lost by a believer. Is there any hope of getting it back and if so,
how can this be achieved?
Recreate, according to the
Cambridge dictionary may be defined as “to make something exist or happen again”.
Perfect, according to the
Cambridge dictionary may be defined as “complete and correct in every way, of the
best possible type or without fault”.
It can be deduced from
these two definitions that to ‘perfectly
recreate’ is to make something exist or happen again correctly, completely and
without fault. Clearly to ‘perfectly recreate’ cannot lie in the realm of
human enterprise. This is because man is imperfect and because man is unable to
make anything that is exactly the same without some degree of error. It
therefore means that only God Almighty can ‘perfectly recreate’ thus why He is
known as ‘The Perfect Recreator’.
Matthew 5:48 says “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly
Father is perfect”.
While Apostle Matthew
admonishes Christians to strive for perfection, he recognizes that God, our
Father in Heaven is perfect. It is important we appreciate this concept because
it will lay a good foundation for understanding how God can intervene for his Children
when they are faced with circumstances where their ‘goods’ or ‘blessings’ have
been lost or stolen by the enemy.
Since only God can
perfectly recreate anything, it means that no Christian should allow him or herself
to become dejected, discouraged or troubled because of lost possessions. Once
you are downcast, you are telling the Devil that he has succeeded. It has once
been said that ‘it is not what happens to you that matters but how you react to
it’. This is the key to recovering anything that has been stolen. It really is
not wise to dwell on the fact that something has been stolen but rather to seek
how to get it back. If your car gets stolen would you start crying and
pondering about it for weeks or would you take a proactive step to get it back?
Most people would at least report it to the police station while others would
upload pictures of the car and circulate online. This is the rational and
expected reaction of every person that has lost something of value to that
person. However when it comes to spiritual things or ‘intangibles’ many
Christians do not engage in any hot pursuit of their stolen ‘goods’ and as a
result forfeit so much to that ancient serpent the Devil which should not be the
case.
To recover something that
has been stolen you must first know that it has been stolen from you. Many Christians
have lost precious gifts to the Devil but have no idea about it and so they are
unable to recover what they have lost. The Bible says in Hosea 4:6 that:
“my people
are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
“Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also reject you as my priests;
because you have ignored the law of your God,
I also will ignore your children.”
It is therefore very
important to pray for revelation and open eyes so that God can reveal to you
all that you have lost. One scripture that every Christian should pray every
day is Apostle Paul’s first prayer for the Ephesians which can be found in
Ephesians 1:15-23:
15 For this reason, ever since
I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not
stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the
Spirit[a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be
enlightened in order that you may know
the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his
incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when
he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all
rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked,
not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed
all things under his feet and appointed
him to be head over everything
for the church,23 which is his
body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
You see when you pray this daily you gradually find your eyes being opened to so many areas of life including areas where you have lost your possessions.
Secondly,
some Christians know what they have lost but feel that it’s just part of life
and that it can never be gotten back. What a lie from the Devil! A child of God
must first believe that he can recover what he/she has lost before there can be
any hope of recovery. This means that only through Faith can any believer hope
to ever get back whatever has been stolen. It is important to have faith,
because without faith you cannot recover anything. Of course your faith must be
placed in The Perfect Recreator because only He has the power to recreate
whatever has been stolen, killed or destroyed.
Mark 11:24 says that:
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in
prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
However, Matthew 13:58 says
that:
“And he did not do many miracles there because of their
lack of faith.”
Clearly
these two scriptures tell it all. If you believe that The Perfect Recreator
will recreate circumstances for you and restore whatever you have lost, then
you will have it. If on the other hand you doubt and don’t believe, then you cannot
have it. It is as simple as that. The Book of James 1:6-7 delineates this
perfectly:
“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt,
because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the
wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.”
So if you want to see the
Perfect Recreator in action, you must believe!
Thirdly, to put The Perfect
Recreator to work on your behalf, you must pray!
Matthew 7:7-8 says
Matthew 7:7-8 says
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will
find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives;
the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
James 4:2 says:
“You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet
but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do
not ask God.”
It
is clear that if you do not ask there is no way for the Perfect Recreator to
work on your behalf. The fact that God knows that you have lost something does
not mean that He will automatically act on it for you. You have to ask! But the
assurance we have is that if we ask He will answer us. Therefore as a child of
God you can activate The Perfect Recreator in your life by calling upon Him in
that capacity. When you pray you need to quote some scriptures which will
enforce your prayer and ensure that you get swift intervention. The scriptures you
will use will also depend on what you may have lost. If you have lost physical
possessions you can refer to instances in the Bible where God recreated lost
possessions for his servants. Probably the most famous example is that of Job,
who lost everything. However the Perfect Reactor showed up in Job’s life and
recreated everything that was destroyed. It was so perfect that the Bible
records in Job 42:12 that:
“The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than
his beginning; and he had 14,000 sheep and 6,000 camels and 1,000 yoke of oxen
and 1,000 female donkeys.”
This
clearly shows that the situation Job experienced in his earlier days, which was
one of abundance and affluence was recreated perfectly so much so that that his
latter days were greater than the former days.
I
have had several encounters with the Perfect Recreator. Just over a year ago I
wanted to have an appointment with someone but somehow I was unable to make it
and it was a very important one. I however had no idea how to approach the
person to secure another appointment so I initially felt quite perturbed.
However later the Holy Spirit said to me that He would recreate the opportunity
for me so that I could meet the person. He asked me to pray for my Resident
Pastor who I didn’t know was going through significant challenges at the time.
I did exactly that and asked for Him to recreate the opportunity for me. That
same night, I took a flight to Port Harcourt and proceeded to Uyo. After my
assignment I was to return to my base but the Holy Spirit directed me to go to
Lagos which I did by miraculously securing a ticket on the last flight (only
because the flight was delayed by about 2 hours). Once I arrived, the Holy Spirit strung a series of events in quick
succession and within ten days I was face to face with exactly the same opportunity
and situation I had just over a week earlier only this time it was much more
conducive and enlightening than it was originally slated to be. Clearly ‘The Perfect
Recreator is available for you, you just need to call upon Him!
Fourthly,
as a believer you need to find out what God is saying to you. Whenever we pray
God answers us. It could be yes, no or silence. All of these are forms of
answers. As a Christian you must be sensitive to catch God’s answers to your prayers.
Many times, like has been the case with me He will give you an instruction and
that will birth your miracle of perfect recreation. It is important that you
follow John 2:5 which says that:
“His mother said to the servants, ‘Do whatever he
tells you’.”
If
I didn’t pray for my Resident Pastor as He had asked me to he would not have
lead me to buy a ticket to Lagos and I would never have had access to that
recreated opportunity. Also if I had not bought the ticket I would have never
had another appointment. It is quite interesting to note that as of the time I
bought the ticket I had no rescheduled appointment, so I was basically acting
on faith which as we discussed earlier is key to seeing the manifestation of The
Perfect Recreator. Without obedience you cannot get anything back.
Once
you have obeyed the instructions (usually there will be a series of
instructions till you get what belongs to you back) you will find yourself in a
many times difficult to believe situation where you have exactly the same opportunity
or circumstance but usually enhanced in some way. I say difficult to believe because it can be mind-blowing
the fact that what you missed which you thought was gone forever is restored
perfectly back to you.
Therefore
good news for you! There is no need to despair because Jesus is available for
you today. You may ask is it every situation that can be recreated? It is
popularly said that opportunity once lost cannot be regained. But when The
Perfect Recreator is at work unlimited possibilities abound! The only
limitation is your faith, therefore if you are in doubt ask God to strengthen
your faith so that you will not be robbed of your miracle.
The
Perfect Recreator can work in every area of life just as long as we believe.
Below are just a few examples to help boost your faith.
· Relationships: You may be downcast over someone who has left your
life or a broken relationship. You may even believe that you could never have
such a relationship again. Not true! God can perfectly recreate that
relationship experience for you with a completely different person but yet
gives you an even better experience than you had originally. Alternatively, He
can recreate a blissful relationship where a relationship has gone sour or even
completely broken down. The way He does it is up to Him, but be rest assured
that once He is finished you will enjoy a new and much better experience that
will give you complete satisfaction.
· Circumstances/Events: Sometimes you desire a repeat of an event you have
fond memories of. Brethren The Perfect Recreator is up to the task. You may
have had a holiday experience 10 years ago that you have longed for but has
just never happened. God can recreate the experience again for you and leave
you with even better memories.
· Opportunities: Perhaps you are discouraged about an opportunity
you missed, maybe for a job or to start a business. Don’t beat yourself up
about it because there is a way out. If you were careless or nonchalant you
need to ask God for forgiveness and repent for not taking advantage of what He
has given you. You should then proceed to ask for God’s mercy to recreate the
opportunity for you. He can do it perfectly and usually expect an improved opportunity
that will make you forget about the previous one you lost.
· Education: Perhaps you feel you didn’t achieve some milestones
academically which you now regret. Ask the Perfect Recreator and He can
recreate a situation where you can achieve that academic feat in grand style.
· Promotion: You may have been passed over for promotion and can’t
understand what’s going on. Maybe you have never had success whenever it is
promotion time in your office. Do not despair because our God can recreate perfectly
a situation where you will not only be promoted but to a level that cannot be
explained in any human way.
·
Wealth: Have you lost your wealth? Are things hard with you? Were you once a
very wealthy person? I believe your case cannot be as bad as that of Job yet
the LORD perfectly recreated all he lost such that he had double what he had
before. If he did it for Job, he can do it for you. God is not a respecter of
persons.
· Destiny: Does it seem like it’s all over for you? Do you
feel that you could never catch up with destiny again? I have good news for
you. The Perfect Recreator can create a set of circumstances that will connect
you directly with destiny and propel you into greatness. Joseph was sold by his
own brothers, lied upon by Potiphar’s wife and even forgotten by Pharaoh’s
servant. However when it was time for him to reconnect with destiny, the
Perfect Recreator sprang into action and created a situation where he would
become relevant in Egypt and nobody else could fit into that role. Overnight,
Joseph went from the prison to the palace!
Throughout
this write-up you would have observed that believers, Christians or children of
God have been mentioned. This is the exclusive preserve of born again Christians.
The Perfect Recreator intervenes for His children. So if you have not given
your life to Christ you can do so by reading the following prayer out aloud:
Lord Jesus I come to you today as a
sinner. Forgive me and wash away my sins in your precious blood. I acknowledge
that you died for me on the cross of Calvary and resurrected three days later. I
receive you as my Lord and Saviour, have mercy upon me and receive me in your
Kingdom that I might serve you all the days of my life In Jesus Name Amen.
Once
you have said this prayer you have become a born-again Christian and can now
partake in the inheritance of the saints. Say the following prayer now!
Prayer: Father you are the Perfect Recreator, perfectly recreate every opportunity I have ever lost In Jesus Mighty Name Amen.
It
is important that you don’t lose what God has recreated for you again. It is
not that God cannot recreate it again but you may face some challenges before that
may be achieved and the period of time to achieve that is only known by the
Perfect Recreator himself. Instead of misusing or losing it, endeavour to do
your best to keep what God has given you. This you can achieve by doing the
following:
- Living a holy life (staying away from sin) (1 Peter 1:13-16).
- Studying your bible at least once a day (also reading other Christian books) (2 Timothy 2:15, Daniel 9:2).
- Praying on a regular basis (30 minutes a day should be a minimum for a serious Christian)(1 Thessalonians 5:17-18).
- Soul winning and encouraging others (Matthew 28:18-20).
- Serving God in some capacity (in your local assembly for example)(Exodus 23:25-26).
- Regularly fellowship with other believers (Acts 1:14, Acts 2:46).
- Regularly giving to the work of God and the needy (Malachi 3:9-10, Proverbs 19:17).
- Ask God for divine wisdom to avoid carefully planned traps by the Devil (James 1:5-6).
These
and other Christian lifestyles will help secure your possessions and ensure
that, that wicked dragon the Devil will have no access to what belongs to you. You
are destined for glory and ordained to shine. According to the book of Prophet Isaiah
Chapter 60 verse 1,
“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
God
bless you. Jesus is LORD!
